General information
Here are some simple tips which will help you to enjoy the Hurricane Festival.
The festival takes place in a natural surrounding and the camping ground is on uneven farmland. Take care, especially at night, when it's difficult to see holes – you can’t dance with a twisted ankle.
The sunlight is very intensive in June. Use sun cream to prevent sunburn and we advise wearing caps or hats to avoid sunstroke.
Make sure you eat properly and drink plenty of water during the festival. Access to free tap water is provided on the campingsite and the festivalground. Especially when the weather is hot, you drink alcohol and don't sleep much, you will need water to stay fit.
Take care that you drink alcohol moderately and don't overestimate yourself. A combination of drug and alcohol abuse is dangerous and may be lethal. Please take care of yourself but also show responsibility for each other.
Practise Safe Sex - use condoms to protect one another from possible infections or uninentional pregnancy.
